Sensors for a smarter home

10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday 22 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Philippa Fawcett Drive, CB3 0AS

We’ll demonstrate these key technologies:
• Intelligent climate control using temperature and humidity sensors. Your home learns your preferences across seasons, making sure you’re always comfortable.
• Energy efficiency using light and occupancy sensors. Lights and appliances turn on only when needed, reducing energy and saving you money effortlessly.
• Health and wellbeing supported by air quality sensors. By monitoring CO2 and air quality levels, your home can automatically adjust ventilation for a fresher, healthier environment.
• Home safety through smoke, noise and water leak sensors. Get alerts as soon as issues arise, so you can address them quickly and prevent potential damage.
Join us for a live demo to see how these smart sensors could make your home safer, greener and more comfortable.
