Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

The Copper Kettle, 4 King's Parade, CB2 1SJ

The Hopes and Fears Lab is a pop-up conversation experiment, bringing together cutting-edge science and society. Sit down in our bespoke cardboard lab for mini conversations with the people working on the discoveries that will shape our future. This edition of the Lab will be AI themed -- researchers working with AI in fields ranging from healthcare to creativity will be available to talk (and to listen). This Lab lets us all share what we feel rather than just what we know -- and that's the first step to ending up somewhere really interesting.

This edition of the Lab is designed in tandem with the ai@cam panel discussion on 'How can we harness the power of AI for public benefit?' at the Cambridge Union. The two events are likely to run on consecutive days.
