From its roots in the transatlantic slave trade to the modern Carnival season in Brazil, Maracatu encapsulates a fascinating cultural journey of resilience and creativity. Established just over a year ago in Cambridge, Baque Trovão aims to promote culture, embrace diversity, and bring fun through our Maracatu performances and parades, with captivating percussive rhythm and dance.
