11:00am-4:00pm on Sunday 30 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Department of Psychology, Ground Floor Classroom, Downing Street, CB2 3EB

Event hosted by the Dept. of Psychology (www.psychol.cam.ac.uk).

This is part of “From drawing first breath to the election booth: A Lifespan Journey” Psychology Investigation Trail.

The fifth stop on the trail invites families to participate in a hands-on activity exploring facial recognition and emotions. Using sets of printed facial images, participants compare expressions and decide which faces look the most similar. This engaging activity not only sparks fun discussions but also helps us understand more about how we see and interpret emotions in faces. Each participant can jot down their reasons on a postcard, and the most insightful answer will win a small prize! Perfect for children aged 4 to 14, this activity provides a memorable and interactive experience for the whole family.
