Have you ever wanted to be a car designer? What do you think makes a great design? Come along to the Department of Engineering to learn about how cars are designed and manufactured. Using the provided materials and simple tools build your own model car. You can then test and modify it before racing against other participants to see whose goes fastest and furthest. For those who like a challenge there will be opportunity to learn about gears and how they can improve your cars performance.
