ai@cam is the University of Cambridge’s mission to develop AI that serves science, citizens, and society. Join us at the Computer Science and Technology Open Day to meet some of the researchers from our AI-deas programme and learn about the exciting projects they are working on.

For example, as local authorities across England are increasingly using AI to inform their decision-making, take a chance by rolling a dice to select a topic—such as ‘land use’ or ‘sustainable water supply’—and engage with researchers on how AI could support councils in these areas. You’ll also have the chance to meet scientists developing a new AI tool that provides governments with deeper insights into the climate crisis. At their stand, try out a game with an AI-generated dashboard to see if you can identify decisions—like reducing fossil fuel production or halting deforestation—that could help cut greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate global warming.
