Computer science and technology: the film show!

This event is part of the Department of Computer Science and Technology Open Day.

Come along to view our series of short films, if you want to:

- Meet the female researchers of the 1950s who were using the first computer ever built in Cambridge.
- Hear from our alumni about how they invented the BBC Micro and the Raspberry Pi computers.
- Find out why we’ve recently used surveillance cameras on sheep, and whether cars can ‘talk’ to each other.
- Discover what it’s like to study computer science at university, and why you might enjoy it.
- Get a glimpse of some of the technologies of tomorrow.

The films will be played on a loop throughout the day in Lecture Theatre 2.
