Art and Archaeology : a subversive collaboration

5:30pm-6:30pm on Thursday 20 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Downing Street, CB2 3DZ

Artist Alana Jelinek talks about creating her large-scale site-specific graffiti inspired mural which she co-created with museum staff, community groups and visitors to the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. The mural is a new experiment for Jelinek as she attempts to find a visual language for the relationship between people and things over time and space; people and things which have come together in one space - the Andrews Gallery - at this time, from many thousands of years ago and from many thousands of miles away.
